The Communications and Public Witness Office of the Southwest Texas Conference publishes United Methodist Witness
the second and fourth Fridays of each month to:
-Share the life of the church as experienced by individuals and congregations as well as in district and conference events.
-Report events, activities, information and developments within the church.
-Reflect attitudes and viewpoints within the church, interpret the significance of events and lift up possibilities and hopes.
-Facilitate programs by providing factual information about district and conference events.
The tabloid newspaper reaches conference, district and local-church leaders and decision makers (both
laity and clergy) in 78 counties across the southern third of Texas. Current circulation is 6,700.
